First Aid

Upon completion of this course, you will receive comprehensive training in handling environmental emergencies, treating medical injuries, administering first aid for choking, and controlling bleeding. After successful completion, participants will be awarded a certification in First Aid, which will remain valid for 2 years.
Opioid Overdose with Narcan

Our Firstaid for Opioid Overdose course is designed to provide you with the knowledge to identify signs and symptoms of opioid abuse and overdose. You will also learn how to administer CPR and use Narcan nasal spray, based on the individual's condition. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a 2-year certification

We have partnered with our Doulas to create Safe Start workshops where we cover safety and prevention, safe sleeping, infant CPR and choking, and more. Emergencies are inevitable. Parents and caregivers are most likely to experience medical and breathing emergencies in infants and children firsthand. Our Safe Start workshop is designed to increase parents' awareness of safety and preventable hazards, and provide action steps for recognizing, responding to, and stabilizing different emergencies until EMS arrives.
